Gas Works & Discovery Park Couple Photos



Seattle weather has a way of writing its own story, and this session is proof that sometimes the best moments are the ones you never plan for.  We had booked this couples session months in advance, hoping for a rain break in the middle of winter. It stayed dry on the drive to Gas Works Park, but the moment we stepped out, the skies opened. We laughed, embraced the rain, and captured some of my favorite images! Even if it meant nearly sacrificing my camera along the way.

Knowing these photos would become a meaningful reminder of Seattle before his upcoming military move made our rain soaked jackets and rain-covered camera & lens  worth it. We finished the evening at Discovery Park, where the weather gave us a few quiet moments before returning to its familiar drizzle. Through it all, these two leaned into every moment together, creating a gallery filled with genuine connection, moody romance, and the kind of cinematic beauty only the Pacific Northwest can offer.
