As she expands her business with new coaching offerings, this transformational life coach knew it was time for branding photos that reflected who she has become—not just what she does. With years of professional marketing experience, she understood that authentic imagery builds trust long before a conversation ever begins. We intentionally planned a two-hour session, allowing space to slow down and create images that felt genuine rather than posed. But some of our favorite photographs weren't planned at all.
Before Maria arrived, I noticed a skylight casting a beautiful beam of natural light in the middle of the room. As it shifted throughout the session, we followed it, creating a series of artistic portraits that became some of her favorite images. It's one of my favorite reminders that while planning matters, some of the most powerful photographs come from staying present, noticing what's unfolding, and responding creatively in the moment.
